Absolutely loved every minute of this experience. I would highly recommend it to anybody that has an interest in aviation or just having a experience of a lifetime in a jet plane.
I was also lucky enough to see a Spitfire start-up and take off whilst I was there and the team was so accommodating and open to sharing information about what was going on at the airfield at the time. I highly recommend this to anyone who is considering this experience.

Flying in a WWII P-51 Mustang with Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights was truly the experience of a lifetime!
As a former military and commercial pilot, my expectations were high—and they were completely exceeded. The aircraft itself is a stunning piece of history, and soaring down the Australian Gold Coast provided an unforgettable backdrop. Brad and Cam were fantastic hosts, making the entire experience seamless, professional, and incredibly fun. If you’ve ever dreamed of flying in a P-51 Mustang, this is the best place on earth to do it. The flight, the team, and the breathtaking scenery make this a must-do experience. I also got some amazing GoPro footage to relive the moment over and over again. I cannot recommend this highly enough—if you’re even considering it, just do it!

The team at Fighter Pilots are an amazing bunch of people, was absolutely privileged to spend time with the team today.
From the moment you walk into the door for your briefing the team go out of the way to provide exceptional service from start to finish.
Then comes the ultimate experience the flight Wow how privileged is an individual to relive the footsteps in the sky from our hero’s past, I was lucky enough to be seated in the legendary P51 Mustang with Cam taking me up into the wild blue yonder, the views the experience of feeling the pure muscle and grunt of that V12 Merlin humming away and the agility of the machine still has me grinning from ear to ear.
If you are searching for that must do bucket list item this one has to be on the top of the list - especially for any aviation enthusiasts

This was my second flight with the team at Fighter Pilot. Last time I flew on the L39 and this time I chose the Mustang.
My hubby decided to come along and try the L39. We upgraded to the Platinum and am so glad I did, the team flew us in formation all the way to the Gold Coast. Being so close to each other in the air was amazing.
The aerobatics on the Mustang was a treat, I was surprised as to how smooth it was.
Our Pilots Steve and Cameron were so accommodating and really went above and beyond for us. I can't thank them enough for such an incredible experience.
These flights are super addictive and will start saving up to do this again

Purchased the L-39 Albatross flight for a friends birthday present and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The whole team was really friendly and it was nice to not be rushed through the whole experience. We had time to look at the other planes, ask questions and take photos.
My friend has a real need for speed and it’s hard to find anything that gets him excited. This did! I believe they hit the 5g mark and just short of 800kph.
Don’t skip on the inflight go pro footage they offer. Great quality.
If you wake up on the morning of your flight and don’t see crystal clear skies. Don’t stress. A bit of cloud cover actually made the experience and looked fantastic in the footage.

My husband went up in the L-39 yesterday with Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights. He said it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were all so lovely, professional and made the whole experience so much fun. He said Mark the pilot was fantastic, talking him through everything along the journey and it was great to see their passionate and love for it.
As a spectator, I was able to go and watch the whole take off and landing and was made to feel a part of it and also able to enjoy the experience from the ground.
We both highly recommend taking this experience if you’re up for some fun!

Yesterday I ticked a flight in a North American P51-D Mustang off the top of my bucket list. This is something I’d wanted to do for 20 years and it became the ultimate 50th birthday present.
The power of the V12 Merlin engine was incredible and the views as we flew low over Sanctuary Cove, Sovereign Island and along the Gold Coast were spectacular.
Thank you so much to Brad & Cameron for an absolutely unforgettable experience that I’ve waited so long to do but as the saying goes “You Only Live Once”.

I have an 18 year old that is interested in a flying career - he has had a lesson or two and I hoped that this experience would help him make more informed decisions about what direction he would aim for. Career advice is not exactly what this company does – however Steve and his team took extra time and effort to explain various aspects to us and answered all our questions concisely and patiently. The reason became obvious – these people are absolutely passionate about flying and it is contagious. Friendly, patient and professional. Also they explained the risks and how it will be managed throughly - Other Australian tourism focused companies should send their staff to come observe how it is done.

“What a blast – another adventure off my bucket list. My father was a WWII Spitfire fighter pilot and was awarded a DFC & Legion of Honour for his role in D Day. He has now passed and I have always wanted to experience a flight in a WWII fighter. My first wish was a Spitfire and if not available a P-51 Mustang. Not only was the flight definitely worth the cost and all I could have asked for, but the opportunity to see some of the vintage aircraft up close was incredible. The friendly people added to this experience as it was great to chat and see so many people passionate about the same thing, great community!
I felt safe the entire time and once again the professionalism and knowledge of everyone there was amazing. Will definitely be doing this again at some point and I’d like to thank everyone there, particularly Cam for being great pilot and good bloke! Also would like to mention Peter as he took some photos for us and was interesting to talk to.

Definitely one the best experiences I have ever had (and I've had a few) Steve and Paul are professional, friendly and just great blokes.
Steve took me up in the L39 albatross (which was immaculate) Steve made me feel safe and comfortable through the whole experience, keeping me constantly updated and aware of what was coming up... Top gun stuff!!

Right from the time I arrived, you looked after me so well. My briefing and suiting up was great. My flight was excellent with such a great view of the beaches at the Gold Coast! And I saw whales!! My pilot - Cameron spoke to me the whole flight- telling me what we could see & what we were doing next. The rolls & turns were super exciting!! Loved it ! I have just watched my video & relived the whole experience! This was on my bucket list & I would highly recommend Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights!
